What I mean is I am 50 and I prefer to date women 30 years old and Up I have been approached by women 25 to 30 years old and I didn’t know what to do maybe you have some ideas, was I wrong to say no? I just told them thanks for contacting me, and I didn’t pursue it further.

Lucky for you, you must be a real nice person. I think yr right though. It is flattering, but if you are with someone nearer yr own age they will be more understanding in 10 years time. The other person may want to party & expect you to keep up.

If they are consenting adults fine. I do think your 30 and up was better because most girls that are 25 or younger are needing financial help and maybe they are seeking you out for perks…. if you know what I mean.

i dont find anything wrong with it, if its something you and the other prson involved feel comfortable with it then i say go for it!

Not as a rule, but it seems that the older men who date much, much younger women, really lack the social skills that are necessary for them to connect with women their own age, or closer to it. A more mature woman is apt to see through insecurities, manipulative or aggressive behavior, and not put up with it. Younger women have less life experience to put up against certain actions or behaviors, and therefore, can in some cases be easier to control and manipulate.
On the flip side, if you make a good deal of money, some young women use their youth and looks to manipulate older men just the same.
Either way, it is not that it cannot happen, it just has a higher probability of being motivated by something else aside from pure attraction when ages come into play like that.
I’ve noticed this in my own observation of my 54 year old father-in-law and his asian 24 year old wife. They have nothing in common…well, except his Viagra.

I’m in high school and the guy i love is 4/5 years older than me…Don’t worry, just don’t make it one of those creepy things.

Hi Frank..I’m one that sees that anything goes anymore, within reason. I get approached by younger guys too and the way I look at it, if he is young enough to be my son then I just can’t even think about it. A guy 30 can be very mature but he is still young enough to where I would feel like I was a little off-balance. I don’t think I would feel comfortable being seen out in public with him. We have a 50 yr old guy in town and he always seems to have younger “ladies” with him. 25ish. He gets talked about a lot! In the same sense tho I think it depends on the person. Some younger people are tired of the games of their age group and would rather be with an older (not too old) partner. So, I guess I can only say…use good judgement! (and have some fun, we only go around once!)
